James
James doesn't know a stranger and speaks to everyone he meets. He's easy to get along with, but also enjoys hanging out by himself. He is a genuinely nice person. Diagnosed with autism at age 2, James hasn't let his disability slow him down. He sings in a choir and helps out with the University of Central Oklahoma wrestling team. James recently returned from the National Special Olympics, where he competed in bowling.
James remembers names easily and his friendliness impacts everyone he comes into contact with. Individuals with special needs are all around us, and their unconditional concern and love for others can have a profound impact on individuals and community.
