RESIDENTIAL LIVING

Wings first residential home will provide living for up to eight adults with developmental disabilities in a ranch-style home with individual, private bedrooms/bathrooms and communal gathering/living spaces. Residents will be encouraged to make proactive choices that challenge and improve their life skills, social skills, leisure and recreation skills, and in some cases their job skills.

With 24/7 residential staff, WINGS residential will create a sense of supervised independence while promoting genuine community and fellowship. Wings residential will offer an enhanced quality of life with modern approaches for healthy living, and thoughtful design for the unique and deserving population we serve.

Key features of WINGS residential will include:
- Approximately 9,000-9,200 s/f ranch-style home
- Eight individual, private en suite bedrooms
- Attached 24/7 residential staff living quarters
- Well-appointed communal spaces with modern amenities
- Walking distance to WINGS Day Program
- Fun and vibrant weeknight and weekend planned activities

Projected eligibility requirements:
- At least 18 years of age AND out of high school - Primary diagnosis of a developmental disability or delay
- Independent, with supervision and/or prompts in activities of daily living 
- Able to ambulate and transfer independently
- Able to feed and perform basic hygiene functions independently, including showering or bathing independently
- Able to follow a schedule of training and activity
- Free of aggressive or threatening behaviors; no serious psychiatric or mental health conditions

Pricing:
- Wings is Private pay and does not contract with local, state, or federal governments. Wings will contract directly with families, caregivers, or Members for payment of services. Usage of monthly benefits through the form of waivered services, etc. witll be determined during a financial consultation interview.
- Monthly residential price has not yet been determined, but will include all basic residential and Day Program needs.
- Personal spending for shopping, outings, travel, etc. and any medical expenses not covered by an insurance carrier are not included in the tuition cost and are an additional cost.
- If employment is appropriate for the resident’s needs and abilities, funds earned through on-campus or off-campus employment opportunities may also be applied toward any balance.
